TEXT

  10  nfs¹-s¹ w-mqm-s¹
  11  b(n)-kl (q)yntm

Apparatus
2Ryckmans reads Myfʿ.
4The reading of the god's name proposed by Jamme (ʿzyn) seems to be more reasonable than the one suggested by Ryckmans: ʿ(m-R)y[ʿ]n.
6[b .]nb (Ryckmans), b-[W]nb (Jamme); possible other reading: Mwnb.
9Jamme reads b-ṣdr-s¹.
11we accept here the Ryckmans' suggestion: [q]yntm as a mistake for qnytm. Jamme reads (s²)yntm without any meaning.

CULTURAL NOTES

In this text the goddess ʿzyn has a masculine epithet (mrʾ, "Lord"). This is not unusual in Qatabanic (see the mention of ʾṯrt in Aylward 2=CSAI I, 123).
