TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  ʿbdʾbhw [... ...] mqtwy
   2  of Yṣbḥ of the clan ʿṯkln dedicated to
   3  ʾlmqh Ṯhwn Master of ʾwm the statue in bronze,
   4  in praise because ʾlmqh granted His servant
   5  ʿbdʾbhw the rendering of his justification to his lord
   6  in the (case) in which the enemy (two enemies?) had denounced him; and because ʾlmqh granted
   7  His servant the safety of his person from
   8  the ban which he had occurred. And may ʾlmqh continue to save
   9  the person of His servant ʿbdʾbhw
  10  from evil and distress, and from the harm
  11  and malice of any enemy, and may ʾlmqh grant him
  12  the goodwill and the satisfaction of his lord Yṣbḥ
  13  ʾs²wʿ of the clan ʿṯkln, by ʾlmqh.
