TRANSLATIONS

English

      
   1  [... ...] the
   2  favours he sought from Him in His oracle and may continue
   3  ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, to grant and bestow
   4  His servant Rbʿṯt Yġnm in all favours and
   5  good news he will continue to request and receive from Him
   6  and may He grant him favour and goodwill of their lord
   7  Ns²ʾkrb Yʾmn Yhrḥb, king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān,
   8  and soundness of faculties and material resources and may
   9  ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, save them from misfortune,
  10  mischief, maleficence, malice, slander and calamity
  11  of any enemy and evildoer, the one they are aware of and
  12  the one they are not aware of, and may ʾlmqh
  13  Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm grant them abundance of crops from all
  14  their valleys, their fields and their irrigated lands
  15  and first-fruits of the cereal crops of spring and autumn and summer and
  16  winter in abundance. By ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm.
