TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Mʿdkrb and his son ʾlwhb, of the family ḏ-Ḫzfn,
   2  dedicated to ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm, these two statues
   3  in bronze, in praise because ʾlmqh,
   4  Lord of ʾwm, granted to him a male child as He had announced to
   5  His servant Mʿdkrb in His oracle; and might
   6  ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm, continue to grant to His servant Mʿdkrb
   7  healthy children; and might He grant to them the goodwill and the satisfaction of
   8  their two lords ʾls²rḥ Yḥḍb and his brother Yʾzl
   9  Byn, the two kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, sons of Frʿm
  10  Ynhb, king of Sabaʾ; might ʾlmqh grant to them perfect
  11  outcome and the safety of their persons; and might He help
  12  them from the maleficence and malice of the enemy; by ʾlmqh,
  13  Lord of ʾwm.
