GENERAL NOTES
| The inscription can be dated to the second half of the 1st century AD, under the reign of Krbʾl Byn son of Ḏmrʿly Ḏrḥ, king of Sabaʾ and ḏū-Raydān. |

1 ʾAbūkarib ʾAyman und ʾIlrām Yarguf, 2 Angehŏrige der (Sippe) Dū Girāfim, haben ʾAlmaqah, dem Herrn von 3 Šabʿān, die Statuette aus Bronze sum Dank gewidmet, 4 wie ʾAbūkarib ihm über seinen Sohn Yuhaʿin versprochen hatte, 5 als der gezeugt wurde, dass, wenn (dies)er ihm (erst) übergeben worden wäre, 6 er ihn nach Našqum heraufbringen und dem 7 ʾAlmaqah für ihn eine Statuette widmen würde. 8 Und ʾAlmaqah möge das Wohlergehen jenes Knaben Yuhaʿin 9 aufrechterhalten und ihn vor Unheil und Schaden, 10 vor Bosheit eines Feindes sowie Krankheit behüten. 11 Und (sie haben gewidmet) für das Wohlergehen seiner Diener ʾAbūkarib, ʾIlrām 12 und Yuhaʿin, Angehörige der (Sippe) Dū Girāfim. Und ʾAlmaqah 13 möge fortfahren, das Wohlergehen seiner beiden Diener ʾAbūkarib 14 und ʾIlrām aufrechtzuerhalten und ihnen beiden männliche Kinder 15 über jenen Knaben hinaus sowie das Wohlwollen 16 ihres Herrn Karibʾil Bayyin, König von Sabaʾ und 17 Dū Raydan, Sohn des Ḏamarʿali Ḏarīḥ, zu schenken. 18 Bei ʿAṯtar und Hawbas, bei ʾAlmaqah, bei Ḏāt Ḥamyim, bei Ḏāt 19 Baʿdān, bei ʾAranyadaʿ, dem göttlichen Patron, 20 und bei Ḏāt Našqim sowie ihrem 21 Beschützer Šabʿān. |

CULTURAL NOTES
The name of the tutelary deity evoked at the end of the text coincides with the name of the sanctuary of ʾlmqh in Nashq, where the statue was dedicated: S²bʿn.
