Notes on support and decorationsAs far as the motif of the architectural structure is concerned, the stela is comparable with a group of Sabaean stelae (cf. Matteini 2006), which depict a female seated figure playing a lyre. In this exemple the naked, standing figure is a crowned man with a club in the right hand: probably an image of the Roman Hercules.
