TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Yḥmʾl descendant of [.]rtn of the tribe Rym, vassals of
   2  the king dedicated to ʾlmqh, Master of ʾwm
   3  the statue in bronze that he promised to ʾlmqh, as
   4  soon as he and his brother Ḥywʿ-
   5  ṯtr would return in safety from the land of Ḥaḍramawt, when they
   6  campaigned to follow their lord S²ʿrm ʾwtr king
   7  of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, when he waged war in the land of Ḥa-
   8  ḍramawt, and may ʾlmqh grant them the safety
   9  of their persons and their cattle and perfect fruit crops and
  10  harvests, by ʾlmqh.
