TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  ʾbḥlk, she of Ḏbyn,
   2  dedicated to ʾlmqh Ṯhwn,
   3  Lord of ʾwm, this female statue in bronze
   4  whereby she praised the might and the power
   5  of ʾlmqh, because He saved and protected
   6  her person from the the very cold weather she suffered in the
   7  year of S¹mhkrb, son of ʾbkrb, when
   8  she praised (to be saved) from the epidemic, which was
   9  in that year; may ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord
  10  of ʾwm, continue to preserve and save
  11  the person of His servant ʾbḥlk,
  12  she of Ḏbyn. By ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord
  13  of ʾwm.
