1 Bqlm Yfrḍ son of Yhʿn and 2 ʾs¹ʿd ḏ-Ḥbb and S¹ʾryn, lieutenants 3 of ʾls²rḥ Yḥḍb king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān 4 son of Frʿm Ynhb king of Sabaʾ, and 5 Ys²fʾl son of Zydm and Whblt son of 6 Bḥrm and Bs²rm son of Nmyrm, chief of Nagrān, and S¹lymm 7 son of ʿbydm, commander of Nagrān (wrote this inscription), when they directed (the construction) of the tower 8 Rdʿm over the well Ġrw for their lord, the king. |

CULTURAL NOTES
"La fonction de mrʾs¹ correspond apparemment à celle de raʾīs dans les sources proto-islamiques. On dispose d'une autre mention de mrʾs¹ à Nagrān dans Ja 577/12 qui, dans un contexte conflictuel, évoque 'tous les chefs de guerre et les hommes libres de la commune de Nagrān'" (Robin 2010 b: 54).
