TEXT

   1  ʾlt s³ʾk Brhmw
   2  bn Gdnm b-ʿm |
   3  Krbʾl Wtr |
   4  D[nm] w-ʾry—
   5  [dy] /150/

Apparatus
4Eryani already interpreted the words "ʾrydy" and "Dnm" as toponyms; Garbini points out the possibility that "ʾrydy" could be the ancient name of Shiʿb al-ʿAql; this suggestion is based on the meaning of the root RYD, which indicates the lower part of a spur in a hill. This name perfectly suits to the geographical conformation of Shiʿb al-ʿAql. Jamme, on the contrary, rejects this hypothesis, according to Y.85.Y/3 where it is clear that ʾrydy has to be sought in the lowlands.
