3the ʾ of brʾ, forgotten by the engraver, has been then written in very small size between the r and the following word separator.
4ʾymʾn instead of the usual ʾymn could bear the first evidence in ASA of the use of the letter ʾ as mater lectionis.
For Ymnt see Robin 2013: 131-133.
5l-mʿn-hw (Garbini and Müller) corrected in ls³ʿn-hw by Robin. At the end of the line Beeston suggests to read f[d]ḥ[tm]

5"E che non avvengano alla sua dimora (reading: mʿn-hw) e al santuario, l'edicola del re, disgrazie di distruzione (?)" (Garbini).
Müller: "Und dass nicht geschehe seiner Wohnung (also reading: mʿn-hw) und als Stätte des Königs dem Heiligtum ʾḥlak".

CULTURAL NOTES

This inscription is the first clear evidence of the presence of Jewish followers in Yemen. In fact, Yhwdʾ Yknt not only leaves a text in Hebrew besides the south Arabian one, but this text itself is full of expressions which can be compared to the Hebrew religious literary tradition.
See Ry 534+MAFY-Rayda 1 (mrʾ s¹myn w-ʾrḍn) and Ja 856 (mkrbn).
The king is Ḏrʾʾmr ʾymn son of Mlkkrb Yhʾmn, brother of ʾbkrb ʾs¹ʿd.
His kingdom must be dated after 493 him (Gar Bayt al-Ashwal 2 and RES 3383, where he's king with his father).
