CULTURAL NOTES

History
According to the editor, the mention of ʿAmmīʾanas and of Khawlān tribe suggests that this text could concern the same events than those recorded in CIH 308, i.e. the repression of a revolt in Khawlān by the king ʿAlhān Nahfān (195-210 AD).
