2The reading tnḏrt (CIH and Robin) is correctly restored as tnḏrn by Stein; the letter "n" is evident on the photograph.

TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Mrglt daughter of Tḥyly
   2  confessed and did penance to the
   3  Master of the temple of the god of S¹ʿydm,
   4  because she asked forgiveness so that
   5  He is satisfied; and He asked her for atonement;
   6  and she committed a sin but she will pay the fine;
   7  and she showed submission and distress. May He
   8  reward her with favours.
6"Puisse-t-elle être pardonnée!" (Robin).
