1 ʾḥmd Yġnm, of the family Ns²ʾy, mqtwy 2 of Ns²ʾkrb Yʾmn Yhrḥb, king 3 of Sabaʾ and ḏ-Rydn, son of ʾls²rḥ Yḥ- 4 ḍb and Yʾzl Byn, kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu- 5 Raydān, dedicated to ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, 6 the statue in bronze, because ʾlmqh 7 Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, granted to His servant ʾḥmd his satisfaction 8 in the favours he sought from Him, when he undertook 9 an expedition and performed the service for the ʾqwln and the army to the land of 10 Ḥaḍramawt, and ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, granted 11 His servant ʾḥmd the return in soundness 12 and the killing of two men, and may ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, 13 Lord of ʾwm, continue to grant His servant ʾḥmd killings 14 and booty and soundness of faculties and material resources; may 15 ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, grant His servant ʾḥmd, 16 of the family Ns²ʾy, the goodwill and the satisfaction of their lord Ns²ʾkrb 17 Yʾmn Yhrḥb, king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, 18 son of ʾls²rḥ Yḥḍb and Yʾzl Byn, kings 19 of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, and may He deliver him from 20 the malice and the maleficence of any enemy. By ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm. |
