A copy of the legal text is in Nashq, in the temple S²bʿn, the inscription has been found near Mārib.

1RES suggests to restore S¹ʿd[... ... b-]ʿb(r).
3w-lmw: according to Robin 1982 a, the verb could be also read gmw ("s'assembler, se réunir").

TRANSLATIONS

English

      
   1  [... ...] and ʿlhn, his brothers and his sons, S¹ʿd[ ... ... ] obtained a judicial order, concerning ʾnmrm, his brothers and his sons, and on the responsibility of and concerning the family
   2   [... ...] to their land. And the family Ḥfnm acquired in the region of Nmrn from ʾws¹ʿṯt, he of Ẓbʿ, and by the order of [.] the king (?) Hlkʾmr [... ..].
   3  [... ...] Bʿzhmw, son of ʿlhn, he of Ẓbʿ. And they came to an agreement with the family Ḥfnm in order that their land was guaranteed by a document of proprietary. And this concessionary document took place in the month
   4  of [... ...], son of Ḥḏmt, the second (year). And a copy of this document is in the temple S²bʿn in Ns²qm.
