TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Rbs²ms¹m ʾẓlm and his
   2  son Ġfrm dedicated to ʿṯtr,
   3  Master of the sacrificial place of Ḍnʾn this sta-
   4  tue, as He had ordered him in His ora-
   5  cle, in praise because ʿṯtr has bestowed upon
   6  His servant Rbs²ms¹m all the
   7  favours he sought from Him. And may
   8  ʿṯtr continue to bestow upon His servant Rb-
   9  s²ms¹m all the favours he shall seek
  10  from Him. And may He grant them pros-
  11  perity and safety and male (and) healthy
  12  children, and perfect
  13  crops in all their land and their arable
  14  fields. And may He preserve them from the maleficence
  15  [and malice of any enemy. By ʿṯtr S²rqn].
