The text has been classified as a dedicatory inscription because the verb hʿs²qw means "to do for the god", then "to offer".

   1  Ms²ʿrm w-Ḥẓyn ḏw
   2  Hṣbḥ w-Qyln Ml hʿ—
   3  s²qw l-ʾl-s¹my w-mrʾ-s¹m—
   4  y ʿm ḏ-ʿḏbtm bʿl N—
   5  ʿmn bḥtn l-wfy-s¹my
   6  w-wfy bkl-s¹my w-ʾby—
   7  t-s¹my w-kl ḏ-qnyw

TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Ms²ʿrm and Ḥẓyn those of
   2  Hṣbḥ and Qyln Ml made an offering
   3  to their god and their lord
   4  ʿm ḏ-ʿḏbtm lord of N-
   5  ʿmn of a slab for their safety
   6  and the safety of their dependents and their houses
   7  and of all what they possessed.
5The word bḥtn is translated as "votive object" by Avanzini.
