TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  ʾws¹lt Rfs²n and Yrm ʾymn and his son Ḥywʿṯtr Yḍʿ, of the family Hmdn, ʾqwl of the tribe S¹mʿy, third-part of ḏ-Ḥs²dm, dedicated to ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, the Lord of ʾwm this statue, as He ordered in His oracle, for the safety of Yrm, of the family Hmdn; might ʾlmqh, the Lord of ʾwm, grant to them the favour and the goodwill of their master Wtrm Yhʾmn, the king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, son of ʾls²rḥ Yḥḍb, the king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān; might He grant to them male and healthy children
   2  and might He grant to ʾws¹lt and to the family Hmdn prosperity and safety, good fruits and crops in their land and valleys, in what is and will be favourable for the family Hmdn and their tribe Ḥs²dm; might He deliver them from maleficence and the enemy's malefice. By ʿṯtr, Hbs¹, ʾlmqh, by ḏt Ḥmym,by ḏt Bʿdn, by the solar deity of the king Tnf, by their Patron Tʾlb Rymm. They committed their dedication to ʾlmqh, the Lord of ʾwm.
