   4  dn w-b-ws²ʿn ʾḫ-hmw s²ʿb[n ḏ]-Mdrm w-rṯdw byt-hmw ʿṯtr ḏ-rʾs¹ Mdrm bn kl mhbʾs¹m

TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  [... ...] ʾs¹ʾr and ʾls¹ʿd and their son Bdrm and his brother of the banū of Rmt, clients of the banū Hamdān, built, laid the foundations and
   2  raised to top their house Nʿmn and its hall Ṯmrn, by the power and the favour of Tʾlb Rymm Lord of Trʿt and by their Patron Tʾlb Rymm Lord
   3  of Mrbḍn of Mdrm and by ʿṯtr of the top of Mdrm and by their tutelary divinities and by their S²ms¹ and with the help and the authority of their lords
   4  the banū Hamdān and by the favour of their brothers of the tribe ḏ-Mdrm and they committed their house to ʿṯtr of the top of Mdrm from whoever may damage.
