GENERAL NOTES

The mention of palm gardens in this inscriptions is surprising, since the highland of the Jabal al-Lawz (over 3000 m asl) presents a cold climate, which does not correspond to the climatic conditions required by the date palms.

3-4The names Rymn, ḏ-Mʿ[... ...], Mṭrn and Ṭwqn are probably to be interpreted as the names of the palm gardens mentioned in the previous line.
