   1  S²fs¹y and his mother
   2  Nḍrt dedicated to their
   3  lord S¹yn ḏ-
   4  ʾlm in S¹mhrm,
   5  for the safety of their persons
   6  and of their property.
5-6"Il a protegé leur corps et leur roi" (Jamme 1953, he then corrected his analysis and translation in 1954).
Concerning the translation of mlk-s¹m, we agree with Beeston's analysis.

NotesThis has been the first inscription found by AFSM in Khor Rori, and was therefore given the siglum (KR) nr. 1. Thanks to this inscription, the ancient names of the town, of its main god and sanctuary became known.
