   2  klwtn l-ms¹qt nḫl-hw Mrḫ w-mʿl-hw b-ʿṯtr w-ʾlmqh

Apparatus
2Mrḫ seems to be the name of the palmgrove. Schaffer points out that the name may be "apotropaic", as in Arabic murḫ means "raw date".

   1  Yrybm, of the family ʿṯ[kln], built, laid foundations and completed his two irrigation canals, those of the three
   2  terrace-fields for irrigating his palmgrove Mrḫ and its higher part. By ʿṯtr and ʾlmqh.
