CULTURAL NOTES

Y.90.DA 1 and Y.90.DA 2 are interesting legal texts related to the same topic. They establish the rights and the rules of the water management, relating to the properties of two men. Y.90.DA 1 seems to be a private record of an act that defines the rights of exploitation of the lands.
The Sabaic texts Y.90.DA 1 and Y.90.DA 2, from near Baraqish, attest the Sabaean control on this area before the Minaean settlement in the town.
