TRANSLATIONS

English

Rṯdm, of the family Mʿn, vassal of the king, dedicated
to ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, this statue
of bronze which he promised Him from his booty
from the city of S²bwt when they undertook a military expedition and
assisted their lord S²ʿrm ʾwtr, king of
Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān in the land of Ḥaḍaramawt.
And Rṯdm praised the might and the power of ʾlmqh
because he returned in safety with booty and spoils
in all the battles that he undertook and (during which) assisted
their lord S²ʿrm ʾwtr and in all the missions in which his lord despached
him. And may ʾlmqh grant him healthy crops and
harvests and the favour and goodwill of his lord
S²ʿrm ʾwtr. By ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm.
