TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  [... ...] ʾs¹ʾr Yʿrr and ʾls¹ʿd [.]fn and Bdrm and [..]nrm and [.]rm of the banū Ḏrm of Rmt, clients of the banū Hamdān,
   2  built, laid the foundations and raised to top their house Nʿmn and its hall Ṯmrn and all its upper rooms, by the power
   3  and the favour of Tʾlb Rymm Lord of Trʿt and of Mrbḍn and by ʿṯtr of the citadel of Mdrm and their S²ms¹ and their tutelary
   4  divinities and with the help of their lords S²rḥm ʾymn and his sons of the banū Hamdān and by the favour of their brothers of the tribe
   5  ḏ-Mdrm and committed their house to ʿṯtr from whoever may damage.
