   1  Šā[ʿirum ʾAwt]ar, der König von Sabaʾ [und ḏū]
   2  Rydan, [der Sohn des ʿAlh]ān Nahfān, des König von
   3  [Sa]baʾ, hat dem ʿAlmaqah, dem Herrn von Maskat wa-Yaṯ[wī]
   4  Ba[rʾān], die [Statue aus Bronz]e [und .... (Beute)]
   5  gewidmet, die er aus Qaryatum ḏāt Kāhilim mitgeführt hatte,
   6  als er gegen Ḫawlān, die ʾAšʿarān, (gegen) Yrfaʾ, Ḏaḫirān,
   7  (gegen) einige Stammesverbände (der Einwohner) von Sāhiratān, (gegen) die Kiddat und (gegen) Qaryatum (zu Felde) gezogen war. Er

CULTURAL NOTES

The text, in the frame of a dedication to ʾlmqh, celebrated the victorious campaigns of the king S²ʿrm ʾwtr against different tribes in southern and central Arabia and the deportation to Ṣanʿāʾ of Rbʿt son of Mʿwyt, king of Kinda and Qaḥṭān.
