Apparatus
1The ʾ is written over a d.
2The name Hn, from which the nisbe Hnyhn derives, is attested neither as toponym nor as ethnonym (Frantsouzoff).
6The unit of measure qnt is already attested in Sabaic and Minaic, but its value is still unknown (Frantsouzoff).

TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Yṣdqʾl of the clan ʿlqs³m,
   2  the Hannite, the ʿIdimite,
   3  wrote (this inscription) in the (eponymate) year of ʾʿbdm,
   4  during the wars of Ḥaḍramawt
   5  and the sale of the (two?) portions of dates
   6  for (an amount of) one qnt.
5-6"et vendit les dattes (en quantité) d'un qnt" (Frantsouzoff).
