TEXT

   1  Lḥyʿt bn (Ṣ)wbn Yʿb brʾ w-s¹wṯr w-s¹qḥ mrs³ʿt w-mwṯr byt-s¹ S²—
   2  bʿn b-ʿm w-b ʾnby w-b-ḏt Ḥmym ʿṯtr Yġl w-b ʾḫy-hw w-ʾl—
   3  wd-hw

Apparatus
1The reading Lḥyʿt given by the first editors of the inscription must be retained (contrary to Jamme 1972: Lḥyʿm). The final letter t is clear on the photograph by J. Schiettecatte.
The reading Ẓwbn, instead of Ṣwbn as in the previous editions, was suggested by Jamme 1972. The signs on the photograph are ambiguous. However, Ṣwbn should be preferred, as this lineage name is already attested in the same area (cf. the Southern Middle Sabaic text MQ-al-Ḥāt 1).
