TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  ʾlʿṯt and ʾws¹ʿṯt and [...] and S²rḥʾl, descendants of the clan ʿblm, and their sons ʾlwhb and Drs¹m and Dws¹m and Gnʾn, descendants of the clan ʿblm, dedicated to their Lord
   2  ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm, [...] and these eight images in bronze, by which ʾlʿṯt and ʾws¹ʿṯt and [...] have sought Him favour [... ...] and
   3  S²rḥʾl, descendants of the clan ʿblm, and for their sons ʾlwhb and Drs¹m and Dws¹m and Gnʾn, descendants of the clan ʿblm, for their safety and the safety of their lives and of their sons and of their
   4  children and of their properties; and because ʾlmqh may add to them healthy children and properties and prosperity of faculties and power; and because ʾlmqh may help and save them
   5  from misfortunes and mischief and from ʿqd and qmt and from the host and the encirclement of enemy; and because ʾlmqh has saved them and will save them, as He promised him. By
   6  ʿṯtr and by Hwbs¹ and by ʾlmqh and by ḏt Ḥmym and by ḏt Bʿdnm and by their two lords Ydʿʾl, son of Krbʾl Byn, king of Sabaʾ, and his brother
   7  ʾls²rḥ, son of S¹mhʿly Ḏrḥ, and by their tribe Fys²n; and the descendants of the clan ʿblm have committed to ʾlmqh their dedication against its damage and its removal
   8  and its conceal.
