1 Brqm Nmrn ibn S¹ʾrn and Mḥylm, ʾqwl 2 of the tribe Bakil, the part of Raydat, dedicated 3 to their patron S¹mʿ in Ḥrmtn this inscription 4 in praise because He satisfied him in all favourable oracles 5 he sought from Him in order Him to save them 6 from the devastating storm during the spring monsoon which was arriving in the year of Bʿṯtr 7 son of Mʿdkrb of the banū Ḥzfrm, and they rendered 8 expression of gratitude to S¹mʿ because He satisfied them with His 9 favourable oracle and (so) they were able to bring proper crops and as for the destruction, they didn't see it, 10 and may S¹mʿ continue to satisfy His subjects, 11 the banū S¹mʿ, in all the favours they will seek from Him 12 and may He grant them grace and 13 safety and proper crops in their lands 14 and their fields. |
