1Solá Solé connected ms¹kb to Arabic sakaba "to pour".
6G. Ryckmans translates the Minaic ys¹brr w-s¹mtʿ (RES 3696, 4) as "verser et consacrer". In Sabaic, the IVth form of mtʿ means "to save, to deliver"; hbrr may have a similar meaning, "to keep fair"; for hṣḥḥn cf. the Arabic ṣaḥḥa, "health".
7Solá Solé understands kḏnmy as k-ḏ-nmy, according to the Arabic namaya "enlarge" (see RES 3306, 4 = Gl 282; Solá Solé 1964: 46). The root NMY is not present in the SD.
