TEXT

   1  dkyr šwrw br (n)ʿ(m)[...] ḥryʾ b-ṭb

Apparatus
1The photograph of the text is not clear and S. al-Theeb's tentative reading is given here. There seems to be three letters after {n}ʿm.

TRANSLATIONS

English

1  May Swrw son of {n}ʿ{m}[...] the freedman be remembered in well-being.
1The word ḥryʾ is relatively clear on the photograph (except possibly the ʾ) and therefore the translation of this word by S. al-Theeb as “freedman” is the simplest one, the root Ḥ-R-Y being attested in other Nabataean inscriptions.
