| Notes on support and decorations | RES defines the object a statue base, thus interpreting the stone as standing on its lower side with the higher face being frontally. However, if we consider RES 4099A as a later addition, we must better regard the object as a base for a stela (or even a top of a niche), originally lying on the largest face with the shorter face as frontal side. |
