Notes on support and decorationsThrone made from a massive chair with high back, broken in two parts. The back is decorated with a series of ibexes, placed in mirror-like way, two for each side; the stylized animals, standing on protruding brackets, have big curved horns, long ears and rectangular beards, well characterized legs and hooves. On the top the back is framed with a double series of horizontal grooves and squared dentils (17 for the upper series, 15 for the lower). Presence of a squared cavity (10x10), probably a mortise (Garbini and Francaviglia 1997: 244). Letter B. (probably a king's symbol). High relief and incision.
