SUPPORT INFORMATION

Support typeArtefact » Base (mʿmr)
MaterialAlabaster
Measuresh. 17, w. 7.7, th. 16.2
Notes on support and decorationsRight end of an irregurarly shaped stone block. The presence of a sort of mortise on the top suggests that the piece was the base or pedestal for a statuette, but the step cut along the front corner cannot be explained. It could be an unfinished object.
