The text quotes the construction of a basin in the territory of the temple of Tʾlb.

TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  [... ...] ? mountain Ḏqn strengthened
   2  their cistern, which is near the gate of the temple
   3  of Tʾlb. This repair was in the
   4  year five hundred and twelve.

CULTURAL NOTES

This text referring to a temple of the God Tʾlb is considered the only exception during the monotheistic period. However, as Robin declares (2003: 106), we are not sure that the temple was actually still in use at that time.
