TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  This is the inscription of Ḏmrʿly
   2  Wtr Yhnʿm, king of
   3  Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, son of
   4  S¹mhʿly Ḏrḥ, when
   5  he celebrated the ritual banquet of ʿṯtr ḏ-Ḏbn
   6  and burnt offerings to Him in Trḥ
   7  when he founded all
   8  the community of the god and Patron
   9  and of the territory and the people.

CULTURAL NOTES

In the sanctuary of the Jabal al-Lawdh the kings of Sabaʾ and dhu Raydān resumed, about six hundred years later, the same rites performed by the earlier mukarribs of Sabaʾ.
