GENERAL NOTES

The stone inscription was reemployed in ancient times into the northern side of the northern pier of the Marib dam. Fakhry 1952: i, 71, n. 55 pubblishes an inscription called Fresnel XXXVII, but it doesn't corriponde to our RES 2671=Fr XXXVII= Gl 559=CIH 665.

Apparatus
CIH translation "offer of the son of Mms¹ and his receptacle for unguents".
RES translation "Mʿs¹ʾ (?) fils de of Mms¹ et ses clients (?).
