10 | Robin's reading is based on the comparison with Ry 506, 4 and 5 (ʿl, S¹ʿdm); G. Ryckmans reads S¹wd w-Wlh, with no evidence of these as names of tribes. |

5-6 | "en descendant d'accord avec leur tribus" (G. Ryckmans), "quand ils se sont rendus et ont séjourné dans le Pays de Mʿdm à l'occasion même de l'établissement de certaines de leurs tribus" (Robin 1996 b). |
7-9 | Gajda's translation of the key passage: "en descendant la plaine (?) avec leurs lieutenants ..." follows Beeston and J. Ryckmans' suggestion (reading: hglm). The other editors have: "les moindres de leurs préposés et de travailleurs (reading: s²ġlm), [et tous] leurs fonctionnaires, et leurs suivants, et leurs chasseurs, et leurs tenanciers" (G. Ryckmans), "les plus jeunes de leurs qayls et les jeunes gens (reading: ʾġlm) [de l'ensemble] de leurs officiers, de leurs cavaliers, de leurs chasseurs et leurs troupes" (Robin). |
