1 The descendants of the clan Grt, ʾqwl of the tribe Ḏmry, 2 and their tribe S¹mhrm, dedicated 3 to ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm, the two statues in bronze, 4 in praise because ʾlmqh granted to them 5 the safety of their lord Ns²ʾkrb Yhʾnm, 6 king of Sabaʾ, son of Ḏmrʿly Ḏrḥ, and because 7 ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm, has granted to their lord 8 Ns²ʾkrb the achieving of the proper success in 9 all the battles in which he intervened for the house 10 S¹lḥn in wars and in peace; and may 11 continue ʾlmqh to grant to their lord Ns²ʾkrb 12 safety, strenght, success, prosperity of 13 faculties and power, and may grant to them ʾlmqh 14 the safety of the house S¹lḥn and of its owners, and the safety 15 of its vassals, the descendants of the clan Grt and of their ql; by ʿṯtr 16 S²rqn and ʿṯtr ḏu-Ḏbn and Hwbs¹ and ʾlmqh 17 and ḏt Ḥmym and ḏt Bʿdnm and by the solar divinity of the 18 king, Tnf and by their two gods ʿṯtr ʿzzm 19 and ḏt Ẓhrn Lords of the citadel Knn; and they committed the 20 dedication to ʿṯtr S²rqn and ʾlmqh Lord of ʾwm. |
