CULTURAL NOTES
Y.90.DA 1 and Y.90.DA 2 are interesting legal texts related to the same topic. They establish the rights and the rules of the water management decreed by the Council of Yathill, relating to the properties of two men.
Y.90.DA 2 is a public decree by the Council of Yathill on water regulation; the kabīr of Yathill has the role of "controller of the irrigation" (mdrrm). Cf. the text YM 18352 on the same topic.
