1 [... ...] 2 [... ...] 3 of the tribe Fys²n dedicated to ʾlmqh [... ...] and the statue, both 4 in bronze, in praise because their lord ʾls²rḥ Yḥḍb 5 and his brother Yzʾl Byn, the two kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, son of Frʿm 6 Ynhb king of Sabaʾ returned in safety from all the expeditions and campaigns 7 which they undertook and directed in confrontation with ḏu-Raydān and the tribes and the (other) armed forces of 8 Ḥimyar, and in praise because ʾlmqh granted their two lords the crushing, 9 punishing, slaughtering, smashing and routing of ḏu-Raydān and his army, at 10 Ḥql Ḥrmtm and ʾẓwr; and they invested ḏu-Raydān and his ʾqwl and his tribes 11 in the towns and the fortresses of Ḥimyar, until they made submission to their two lords, and in prai- 12 se because Rṯdʾl returned in safety and with killings and booty 13 from the expeditions and the engagements in which they followed their two lords, and may ʾlmqh 14 vouchsafe and grant them good luck and the goodwill and the satisfaction of their two lords 15 ʾls²rḥ Yḥḍb and his brother Yzʾl Byn, the two kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, 16 and may ʾlmqh deliver them from misfortune, and the maleficence and malice of any enemy, 17 and may He grant them healthy harvests and true prosperity, by ʾlmqh. |
