1 Ḥmlt and Nʿms¹ʿd, 2 (both) of the family Gbʾt dedicated 3 to ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm, the 4 female statue in praise because He granted 5 her a child, to that lady Nʿms¹ʿd; 6 and may He grant them the protection 7 of their persons, and may continue ʾlmqh 8 to save them from the harm and malice of the 9 enemy. [By ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm]. |
5 | mrʾt could be translated "female child" i.e. "He granted her a child, that female child". The child would have the same name of the mother. |
