The graffito could be Ḥaḍramitic thanks to its desinence "hn". In Ḥaḍramawt there is a modern town (mentioned also by al-Hamdānī in the 10th century) called el-Hagarayn, which could be identified with the ancient toponym of this graffito (cf. Colin 1988: 36). |
