1 Ydʿʾb Ḏbyn Yhnʿm, son of S²hr, mukarrib of Qatabān and of all the children of ʿm and of Awsān, 2 Kḥd, Dhs¹m and Tbnw and of all the Yrfʿ, those of the north and those of the south, first-born of 3 ʾnby and Ḥwkm, the one of ʾmr and S²mr, qyn, Official, Priest of ʿmm (or, great Priest), Wizard and Priest of 4 ʿm Ryʿn, Lord of land properties, in charge of sacrifices and of animals (for sacrifices) in the temple of Qny 5 Hwrn constructed, smoothed and opened up the Brʿm pass, with the mobilization of Mḍḥym. By ʿṯ- 6 tr, ʿm, ʾnby, ḏt Ṣntm and ḏt Ẓhrn. |
The king's titles are translated in a slightly different way by the editors: "he who orders and decrees, the tax collector, admnistrator, eponymous priest ...in charge of sacrifices and with ... (?)". |
