ORIGIN AND PROVENANCE

Origin. Conjectural
Modern siteKharibat Hamdān
Ancient siteHrm
Geographical areaJawf - Wādī Madhab
CountryYemen
NotesThere is no evidence that the text comes from Haram.
Höfner 1944: 68, proposed this provenance for the presence of the Sabaic suffix pronouns together with the Madhabaic verb of dedication s³lʾ. This is a well attested phenomenon in Haram, but it is not restricted to Haram only.
