1 Yṯʿm, qyl of the tribe Bklm of Mrymtm, and Mʿdkrb, ʿmʿly and Ḍbʿn, of the family Klbn, 2 of Ḥyw, dedicated to Ḥwkm and to the gods of the temple S²bʿn the bronze statue from a tithe they paid to Ḥwkm in the land 3 of Ḥaḍramwt when they fought, protected and assisted Ydʿʾb Ġyln, king of Ḥaḍramawt, and Yṯʿm and his tribe 4 Mrymtm entered into S²bwt, and they killed the garrison of Yhbʾr in S²bwt, by the command of their lord S²hr Hll and his son Hwfʿm Yhnʿm, 5 kings of Qatabān. They entrusted to Ḥwkm and to the gods of the temple S²bʿn their lives, their faculties, their goods and their son 6 Hwfʾl and their brothers of the family Ḥyw. By ʿṯtr, ʿm, ʾnby, Ḥwkm, ḏt Ṣntm, 7 ḏt Ẓhrn, ḏt Rḥbn, ḏt Ḥmym, and by their lord S²hr Hll and 8 his son Hwfʿm Yhnʿm, kings of Qtbn, and by their tribe Bklm of Mrymtm. 9 And they entrusted to Ḥwkm their statue against everyone who may damage or may move (it) from its place. |
