1 S²rḥʾl ʾs¹ʿr of the family Ḏrnḥ, the ʾqwl of the tribe 2 Ḏmry, dedicated to ʾlmqh Ṯhwn, the Lord of ʾwm, the 3 statue of bronze, by which S²rḥʾl, of the family Ḏrnḥ, praised 4 the power and the authority of ʾlmqh, the Lord of ʾwm, because 5 they were protected, their two masters S¹ʿds²ms¹m ʾs¹rʿ and his son Mrṯdm 6 Yhḥmd, the two kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, sons of ʾls²rḥ Yḥ- 7 ḍb, king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, and all their tribe Ḏmry and 8 all the army which did service for their two masters in the expeditions they carried out in the 9 land of Rdmn, in order to do battle with the army of Ydʿʾl, the king of Ḥaḍramawt, 10 and Whbʾl, of Mʿhr, and the soldiers and the tribes, which supported 11 them. S²rḥʾl praised the power and the authority of ʾlmqh, because 12 their two masters and their tribe Ḏmry and all the army which did service for them 13 came back from those expeditions and battle in safety and in a perfect success 14 and with numerous spoils which satistied and gratified the hearts of their 15 two masters S¹ʿds²ms¹m ʾs¹rʿ and his son Mrṯdm Yhḥmd, 16 the two kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān. Might ʾlmqh continue to grant favour to 17 their two masters in perfect success and in humiliating and destroying 18 all enemy and ill-wisher of their masters, the kings of Sabaʾ. Because 19 ʾlmqh granted to His servant S²rḥʾl all the favours he sought 20 from Him and in order to might ʾlmqh, the Lord of ʾwm, continue to 21 grant to His servant S²rḥʾl of the family Ḏrnḥ all the favours 22 he will continue to seek from Him. 23 Might ʾlmqh, the Lord of ʾwm, grant to His servant S²rḥʾl of the family Ḏrnḥ, the favour and the goodwill of their two master S¹ʿds²ms¹m ʾs¹rʿ and hi son Mrṯdm Yhḥmd, the two kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān. 24 Might ʾlmqh, the Lord of ʾwm, grant to His servants S²rḥʾl and the family Ḏrnḥ prosperity, good luck, soundness of faculties and material ressources, good and luxuriant fruits from all their lands and their valleys. 25 Because He saved and will save S²rḥʾl and the family Ḏrnḥ and their tribe Ḏmry from maleficence and malice [... ...] enemy and ill-wisher, which are distant and nearby. By ʿṯtr, Hwbs¹, ʾlmqh, by ḏt Ḥmym, by ḏt Bʿdnm, by their gods ʿṯtr ʿzz and ḏt Ẓhrn, the two Lords of the mountain Knn, and ʿṯtr ʿzz ḏ-Gʾbm, ḏ-Ṭrr. |
