The inscription can be dated to the second half of the 2nd century AD, under the reign of ʾnmrm Yhʾmn son of Whbʾl Yḥz, king of Sabaʾ. |

1 Whbʾwm Yzʾn and Whbʾl 2 sons of Dws¹m dedicated to ʾlmqh 3 Master of S²bʿn the statue in praise 4 because ʾlmqh granted His servant Wh- 5 bʾwm all the favours he sought 6 from Him; and may ʾlmqh continue 7 to grant to His servant Whbʾwm 8 all the favours he will seek and implore 9 from Him; and may He grant to them favours and 10 goodwill and satisfaction to their lord ʾnmrm Y- 11 hʾmn king of Sabaʾ son of Whbʾ- 12 l Yḥz king of Sabaʾ and may ʾ- 13 lmqh continue to protect and save his servant 14 Whbʾwm from any evil and the malice 15 of the enemy; by ʿṯtr and Hbs¹ and ʾlmq- 16 h and by ḏt Ns²qm and by the solar deity of the king 17 Tnf. |
