TEXT

   1  (Mg)dm Wt(r)n bn (Rs¹)[m]—
   2  m ʿs¹ʾ l-Tʾlb w-l-hmw
   3  mḫtnn Ḫ[... ...]((ḫ[... ...]))

Apparatus
2The integration of the patronymic Rs¹mm is based on the occurrence of bny Rs¹mm in Nihm/al-ʿAdan 3.
3According to Frantsouzoff, the ḫ might be either the initial of the proper name of the building, if the text continued after the letter, or the cipher ḫ (5), even though it should have been written between the ciphers' symbols.

TRANSLATIONS

3The translation of mḫtnn with "house, residence" is not appropriate to this context, where the building is erected for the god Taʾlab.
